One of the most distinguished recording academies notoriously made headlines again after the questionable announcements of its nominees, and Halsey could not stand it anymore.

The Grammy has been lambasted for years for its "ridiculous" voting process since the beginning. After they released the official list of nominations for 2020, a lot of fans conveyed their discontentment towards the awarding body's way of snubbing artists. However, one stood up and the mass supported her stand.

American singer Halsey posted a tweet a day after the announcement and told her fans to delete and ignore all negativity caused by Grammy after the Grammy snubbed the currently most popular K-Pop boy group, Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS).

"I am, however, unsurprised that they weren't acknowledged. The US is so far behind on the whole movement," Halsey's tweet read.

The 25-year-old singer, who also failed to make it to the nominations, teamed up with BTS for the group's single "Boy with Luv," which was one of the seven tracks on the "Map of the Soul: Persona" album.

The collaboration debuted on April 12, and they considered the song as the lead single. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Some ARMYs (BTS fanbase) and Halsey's fans expressed their dissapointment to the Grammy nominations by replying to the same tweet.

Fans could not get it why BTS and Halsey, despite being platinum-certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), got snubbed for the 62nd Grammy Awards.

However, some of their supporters just want to let it go since the award can never validate the group's impact in the music industry.

Grammy previously nominated Halsey for her participation in the Chainsmokers' hit song "Closer" two years ago. Meanwhile, Grammy nodded at BTS for the first time in the 2019 awarding after they received a nomination for Best Recording Package.

Drake Stood For The Truth

In relation to the issue, rapper Drake delivered a speech during last year's Grammy Awards after he won the "Rap Song of the Year" award.

The rapper triumphed that time, but he lifted every artist in the music industry by telling them that they do not need the same award as long as people are listening to their music. He shared the best speech yet, that it became an issue since the Grammy's cut him short.

However, whatever and whoever joins the Grammy's next year, both Halsey and BTS will continue sharing their music to the world and receive unceasing support from their fans, regardless of Grammy recognition.
