Propelled by the success of their hit single Get Lucky and new album Random Access Memories, Daft Punk is about to get their own line of action figures.

The figures, recently posted for preorders on Amazon.com, will be officially released in the U.S. on Dec. 27 for $44.99. Japanese-based designers S.H. Figuarts are developing action figures of the electronic duo's members, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. The 5.5-inch figures are primarily intended for display and are being sold separately.

The product description says that the Daft Punk figures are designed to "honor their attention to visual and robotic components." The figures are being designed with "meticulous attention to detail" and "seven sets of left/right interchangeable hand parts for recreation of dynamic posing."

Daft Punk is having unprecedented success with Get Lucky, which was just announced to be the biggest selling single of 2013 in the United Kingdom. U.K. sales for the single have passed the $1 million mark since its release on April 19. The Official Charts Company, which charts music sales for the country, announced Friday that Daft Punk was helping turn 2013 into the "biggest year for singles sales in British history."

Get Lucky is currently No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the U.S., where it has stayed for the past few weeks behind Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines. Both songs have been on the chart for 11 weeks.

Nile Rodgers, who co-wrote and played guitar on Get Lucky, announced Monday that he didn't want to perform the song until Daft Punk was there to perform with him.

"The first time I really play it, I want to play it with them," Rodgers told NME. "I want it to be tight like the record. I don't want to just jam it." Daft Punk has not announced any tour dates or appearances for their new music.
