"Madame X" shows have been canceled on doctor's orders. Is this another health scare for the Pop Queen, Madonna?

The 61-year old singer and actress came back on stage for her "Madame X" tours that kicked off on September 12 at the Howard Gilman Opera.  However, rather abruptly, Madonna announced the cancellation of three shows in Boston

Madonna told her fans that she is in pain and that the doctor ordered that she took some rest.

Is Madonna Sick?

Madonna said that the pain she is in right now is "overwhelming." She had to cancel three shows in Boston that were scheduled on Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec 2.

On her Instagram page, Madonna wrote, "Please forgive this unexpected turn of events."

The singer added that performing in shows gives her a kind of joy she could not explain. Hence, the cancellation feels more like a punishment for her. However, her doctors advised her to take a break, and that is what she is following.

Madnna promised her fans, though, that she will be back stronger and better to continue the "Madame X" concert tour.

The canceled shows were supposed to be held at the Boch Center Wang Theater. However, the tour is expected to be back on track in Philadelphia on December 7.

Is Madame X Concert Tour A Flop?

RadarOnline has previously reported that the "Material Girl" artist is struggling to bring up the sales of her "Madame X" tour. The tickets for the concerts have remained widely available.

In truth, the producers have moved the concert in smaller venues to hopefully fill up the seats. Nonetheless, ticket sales remain incredibly low.

According to a source close to Radar, the singer does not understand why her fans are not going out to support her at this time. The artist is dumbfounded by this because she used to fill up stadiums for her show. Her fans used to line up for a chance to see her perform on stage.

According to the report released by Ticketmaster.com, there are still hundreds of tickets available for Madonna's show in Philadelphia on December 7. The most expensive ones sold at $3000 are still available. Even the least expensive tickets sold at $132 are also available as of Nov. 27.

What does this reveal about the "Madame X" concert tour of Madonna? Is this why she suddenly felt sick that she had to cancel several performances?

The singer is yet to release a statement concerning the news about her recent concert tour being considered a flop. Still, many of her fans are looking forward to seeing her perform live on stage. Their only wish is for her to get the rest that she needs better performances when she comes back.
