The royal mom outdid herself again.

Kate Middleton spent her Wednesday helping kids pick out their Christmas trees at the Peter Manor Farm. One little boy in the crowd held up his hand and kept saying, "me, me." He reminded Kate of her little Prince Louis, who was not with her at that time.

The Duchess of Cambridge could not help but feel nostalgic. Her little prince is growing up right before her eyes.

Major Milestone of Prince Louis

Kate Middleton revealed that her third child, Prince Louis, 1-year-old, has hit another major milestone in his young life: talking.

Kate stroked the cheek of the child who kept saying, "me, me!" She told him that he reminded her of Prince Louis, who says the same thing. The royal mom of three also admitted that her third child with Prince William wanted to come with her practically everywhere.

During the outing, Kate shared the kind of fir her children, Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, would find with their presents on Christmas morning

Roger Brill, the owner of the farm, said that the Duchess was curious about which trees drop their needles and which ones smell nice. She revealed to him that the royal family normally has the Nordmann Fir indoors because it does not drop its needles.

Kate has got her hands dirty by holding up some trees for the children of the Family Action, a charitable institution. If she was not the Duchess of Cambridge and her schedule permitted it, the farm owner would have offered her a job.

"She was very good with the kids and a very good saleswoman at that," said Brill before joking about giving Kate a job during weekends.

The Next Queen

Kate looked as festive as her smile wearing a red puffer coat and matching green sweater and socks. The boots that completed the look was perfect for a stroll in the tree farm.

The Duchess also ventured into the "Elves Enchanted Forest" to extend help in making Christmas decorations. Then, she joined the rest of the kids inside and they made hot chocolate.

The tree farm visit came after the announcement of making Kate a patron of Family Action. It was a role passed on to her by Queen Elizabeth herself, who has been the charity's patron for 65 years.

Family Action is a charitable institution that provides practical help to families by providing them training to help improve their financial hardships. The institution also provides them with help to address their mental health concerns, parenting difficulties, as well as the issues of their substance abuse.

All these closely align with the work that the Duchess of Cambridge has found herself doing. Her work has always been about children and their families.

The future queen has got the work cut out for herself. David Holmes, the chief executive of Family Action, revealed to PEOPLE that Kate was extra "lovely" during the outing.

"She is fantastic with the children and interested to discuss the issues," he said.

Kate Middleton may be celebrating important milestones of Prince Louis at the confines of their home in the palace, but she sure shines through in her charities too.
