Demi Lovato has not had any new releases for the last two years. Her fans have been asking for new music, and it looks like they will be hearing from her soon.

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer has been cooking up new music for her fans, and she is as excited as everyone.

"The next time you hear from me, I'll be singing..." Lovato revealed in an Instagram post Wednesday.

Immediate after the post, Lovato wrote on her IG stories, "Don't believe the rumors." This story came with an upside-down smiley emoji against a black background. The 27-year old singer teased her fans that new music is coming soon.

Although she still has not revealed if it is just a single or it is a whole new album, fans and celebrity friends were too quick to respond. The comment section of that post was instantly filled up with encouraging comments. The others were expressions of sheer excitement from the good news.

If Demi Lovato releases a full-length album, it would be her seventh hit album.

Star of "Stranger Things" Millie Bobby Brown commented, "YES." Ashley Graham spammed Demi Lovato with celebratory emojis.

Demi's Relapse

In June 2017, the singer released the song, "Sober," which revealed that after six years of sobriety, she had a relapse. The singer has experienced an overdose a little over a month after her relapse. But since then, Demi has worked on making herself healthier and more confident living a sober lifestyle.

Demi Lovato was in Los Anegles to take part in the Teen Vogue Summit. She spoke of a myriad of things but focused more on how she was doing.

Lovato told Lindsay Peoples Wagner, the Teen Vogue Editor-In-Chief, that she sees a fighter who has overcome a lot whenever she looks at herself in the mirror. She emphasized that she was not looking at a champion. Rather, she is looking at a fighter who can continue to fight no matter what came her way.

This was the first interview Demi Lovato had since her much-publicized drug overdose. While the details of what happened to remain unclear, the singer has always been transparent about her mental health issues, substance abuse, and all her other struggles.

Lovato took it to social media to address inaccurate reports, saying that she only needed "time and space to heal."

Demi Is Moving On

Fans could not help but feel excited about the good news that came their way. Austin Wilson, Lovato's boyfriend, has also expressed his love and support by sending three red heart emojis.

Scooter Braun, the singer's new manager also liked the post. It was the confirmation that everyone needed to affirm that new music is on the horizon.

Back in June, the "Confident" singer began teasing her fans with the promise that a new album is coming out. She wrote about the greatness of making a new album. "You get to say anything, be as open and honest as you want and not care who does not like it."

A month after, Demi confirmed on her birthday that she was currently working on putting a new album together. It has been a year since the tragic incident of her overdose happened. The hitmaker is now focused on improving her health, fighting her demons, and overcoming negative body image.
