A new international trailer has been released for Bong Joon-ho's Snowpiercer.

With all surviving humanity packed into a single train, class tensions begin to rise in the first English language film from Bong Joon-ho. Based on the comic book Le Transperceneige, the film follows revolutionaries Curits (Chris Evans) and Gilliam (John Hurt) as they attempt to take down the 'elite' led by Tilda Swinton.

After the world entered an unintentional Ice Age following a failed attempt to end global warming, survivors took refuge on a train. As the train makes its year long journey around the globe powered by a perpetual-motion engine, the inhabitants developed a class system whereby the 'elite' live at the front of the train and the lower class are placed at the back.

Revolutionaries seek to take the engine but need to work their way past security. To do so they seek Security Specialist Namgoong Minsu (Kang-ho Song) who is currently in the prison section.

The film is slatted to premiere next month in South Korea but plans for the film in the U.S. seem to be hazy. The Weinstein Company holds the distribution rights and it is safe to assume it will make its way to some sort of American showing by at least 2014.
