Prince William's first cousin, Zara Phillips, is pregnant with her first child.

On Monday, July 8, Queen Elizabeth's eldest granddaughter announced she was having a baby with her husband, Mike Tindall, a representative for Buckingham Palace told Us Weekly in a statement.

The rugby player and Phillips have been married for two years.

"Members of both families are delighted with the news," the rep added.

Along with being the first child for Mike and Zara, it will be the third grandchild for The Princess Royal and Queen Elizabeth's fourth great-grandchild. The baby is expected sometime in 2014.

The couple, who met at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia, were married in Edinburgh's Canongate Kirk in a private ceremony attended by all the senior members of the royal family -- three months after the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Prince William's wife Kate Middleton is set to give birth in the next few weeks, with the due date predicted to be around July 13. Their expected child's gender has not yet been announced.

"The royal couple's child will officially be known as His or Her Royal Highness Prince or Princess of Cambridge," a rep for Kensington Palace confirmed to Us Weekly

As for the baby's actual monike, the couple have yet to decide on a name.
