Supernatural fans who are slowly weathering the hiatus news drought can take solace in the fact that pre-production has picked back up and shooting will follow soon.

There has been some debate over what the premiere will be title will be. Since Spoiler TV originally reported that an episode entitled "Devil May Care" was the first episode casting, it was believed that this would be the episode aired on Oct. 15.

However, executive producer Jim Michaels tweeted https://twitter.com/TheJimMichaels/status/354277562844848128 that the season was being shot out of order and "Devil May Care" would not be picking up where "Sacrifice" left off.

Recently Michaels took to Twitter once more to announce that the first episode to be filmed will be "Devil May Care" but it will be the second episode to air on CW.

The Vancouver team finished location scouting last week and engaged in technical scouting earlier today, according to episode 2 director Guy Bee.

Bee also revealed via Twitter that shooting for episode 9 will begin extremely soon.

"We start shooting this week! #S9," Bee tweeted on Monday.

Since Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) previously revealed that he had several season 9 scripts in hand, the advent of shooting will add even more potential spoilers for Comic-Con attendees to attempt to find out.
