While there are a slew of different options when it comes to screen protectors for the Samsung's Galaxy S4, the ZAGG invisibleSHIELD High Definition is widely considered the No. 1 choice of protection.

According to the Huffington Post, the company stated that it "has its origins in the military, where it is used to protect high-speed helicopter blades from dust, dirt and debris."

To top off the hype, ZAGG is reportedly offering its customers a free lifetime replacement warranty for the protector.

Another option available to Samsung loyalists is the Amzer ShatterProof, which the company proclaims has "Army-grade protection," stated the site. The respective screen shield is said to hold strong against basic scratches, and also comes with a lifetime replacement warranty.

If consumers are on a tight budget then the Tech Armor HD Clear is a viable option. It holds itself well against scratches, but could still allows damage if "deliberate effort is used," said the site. Interesting to note, it's available for purchase in a 3-pack.

Another choice outside of plastic is a glass alternative. The BodyGuardz Pure is made of a "special chemically tempered glass exceeding the hardness of steel." A YouTube video shows a smartphone being hammered without any damage.
