As season 3 of Revenge approaches, actor Gabriel Mann tweeted Tuesday about the explosive episodes set to air while one the show's writers went into some details regarding episode 5.
ABC has yet to release the official lineup for the fall 2013 TV schedule. Regardless of when the show returns, Mann (who plays Nolan Ross) said season 3 is something not to be missed. He tweeted on July 8, "Could not be more excited to return to the #Hamptons THIS IS the season that @Revenge fans have been waiting for. #StartYourRevengines #S3,"
Filming for season 3 will officially kick off on July 15, Mann confirmed.
A series writer for the show that goes under the Twitter name Karterhol previously tweeted that the script for episode 5 is coming along. On Tuesday, he went in discussion with a Twitter follower about the respective episode and the progress made so far. The writer said episode 5 is "definitely getting there" and noted that it will be "steamy."

When the Twitter followers asked, "You mentioned love triangles. Should we expect any new ones for season 3? :)" the writer did not deny or confirm the claim - he simply replied with a winking smiley face emoticon. It was also asked if there will be a love triangle involving Nolan as "the prize," but the writer refused to reveal any details in that aspect as well.
@EmLGee who know? (I mean, I do, but I ain't saying!) ;) @Gabriel_Mann — karterhol (@karterhol) July 9, 2013
Season 3 will reportedly focus more on sexual and emotional manipulation from its lead characters than physical harm by way of weaponry and explosions.
When in season, Revenge airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. The show stars Emily VanCamp, Joshua Bowman, Madeleine Stowe, Christa B. Allen, Ashley Madekwe and more.
