Katie Couric will return to morning television with a weeklong guest-host appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America!"
Couric, who served as an anchor on CBS new, will temporarily replace host Robin Roberts next week, ABC announced.
The newswoman hosted the "Today" show for 15 years. The program has been the longest-running top-rated morning show on television. It has been number one since 1995

Couric's career since then has included stints as the anchor of CBS' "Evening News."
She is also preparing to launch a syndicated daytime talk show in the fall. Couric will work with ABC on a limited basis.
