Kanye West was reportedly upset because Kris Jenner recently showed a photo of his baby girl, North West, to Matt Lauer on the Today show, according to reports.

Lauer and West have a history dating back to West's 2010 interview with the host. At the time, when West appeared on the morning show, NBC producers showed him a clip of former president George W. Bush's reaction to being called a racist by West after Hurricane Katrina.

When Jenner appeared on the TODAY show on Monday to promote her new talk show, Kris, she promised to show Lauer a picture of North. The reveal happened off camera, but West was said to be furious nonetheless.

"Kanye he felt extremely disrespected and insulted by Matt and the direction the interview took in 2010...He was outraged and disgusted that Kris showed Matt a picture of Nori and he is now refusing to speak to her," a source said.

During the interview, Lauer asked Jenner if her granddaughter would make her official debut on Kris.

"You've got a tool at your disposal and I want to know right now if you are going to use it. Are there plans in the first week of this show to reveal either photos of the new granddaughter North or perhaps a walk on from Kim, Kanye and North?" Lauer asked.

"You're just going to have to wait and see and tune in, because I'm not sure exactly what's going happen," Jenner said. "I won't tell you it won't happen. (I'll) give you a little something to think about. ... You never know who's going to show up."

According to sources, Kardashian called her mother after the interview, demanding that she not show any pictures of the little girl to anyone.

"Kim was freaking out because Kanye was so angry. Kris just blew her off and promised she wouldn't," the source said.
