Production on the fourth season of the CBS TV series, Hawaii Five-O, officially started up again on Wednesday, as the cast and crew began shooting.

According to Entertainment Weekly, actor Chi McBride, whose mostly known for his roles on Pushing Daisies and Human Target, will be gracing the small screen for a multiple episode story-arc.

Five-O executive producer Peter Lenkov described the respective character to the site while also delving into its original series.

"It's always fun to dig back into Five-O mythology and resurrect a character - and in this case, Chi McBride plays SWAT Captain Lou Grover ... Recently transferred to Hawaii from Chicago, Grover isn't easily sold on Five-O's tactics, referring to the task force as: 'McGarrett and his merry band of do-whatever-the-hell-they-want.'

The EP also addressed the series' upcoming conflict, which goes against Grover's approach to the law.

"What Five-O does conflicts with Grover's own style of law enforcement. And that creates good conflict, so prepare for some combustive tension between the two this season," Lenkov added.

CBS' Hawaii Five-O is scheduled to be making its return to a new time slot on Friday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. EDT. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest scoops on the TV series.
