Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have found themselves in the news recently for their apparent failing marriage but the couple has repeatedly claimed the rumors are false.

Shelton recently opened up about his wife in an interview for Men's Journal. While the couple seems to have a solid relationship, it may be because Shelton's knows her too well to want to get on her bad side.

"I don't give her too much sh-t," the country singer said of his wife. "That's like poking a bear."

The pair own three pieces of land out in Oklahoma and Lambert has a tendency to bring home stray dogs, six of them to be exact. This caring nature doesn't mean the 29-year-old won't hold her own if you manage to make her angry.

"She's as lovable as can be - until you cross her. She'll go from zero to 100 real quick," Shelton admitted to Men's Journal. "If Miranda has an inkling you're saying something hardass to her, it's gonna be a problem."

With the boyish charm Shelton displays on The Voice, it doesn't seem like he would be one to cause trouble. The 37-year-old even says he was "too afraid" to cause trouble in school as a kid.

As for the singer's marriage, Shelton still reassures fans that all if perfectly fine at home.

"No matter what you might read, she and I are together constantly and it makes my life that much better," Shelton told E! after his most recent win on The Voice.
