Five-time reality television personality Jake Pavelka slammed the stars of MTV's Teen Mom in a recent interview.

Pavelka, a former airplane pilot, told Radar Online that getting pregnant in high school shouldn't be encouraged.

"It is not cool and that is what that show does is it makes it seem like it's cool to go get pregnant in high school out of wedlock," he said

Pavelka, who is rumored to be dating actress Kristin Chenoweth, said having a child as a teenager is life-altering.

"You have so much life to live. You're a baby and you're having a baby," said Pavelka of the show's stars, including Jenelle Evans and Kailyn Lowry. "There's so much of the world that you are going to miss out on.'"

Pavelka said while he think it's "sad" that they had children during their teen years, he commends them for not terminating their pregnancies.

"I applaud them for having that child and not aborting," said Pavelka. "I applaud that they are giving that kid a chance."

Pavelka said the Teen Mom stars think their earning potential in reality television is high but it's not as much as they think it is.

"If someone gives you $100,000 to be on a show, let me tell you what, a $100,000 is nothing," Pavelks explained.

Pavelka made his debut in reality television when he appeared on season 5 of The Bachelorette in 2009. After his elimination, he became the star on The Bachelor Season 14 in 2010. Later, he appeared on Season 10 of Dancing With The Stars, Season 2 of The Bachelor Pad and competed on VH1's Famous Food cooking competition.
