After a long summer off, The Menatlist has announced their premiere date for season 6.

The Simon Baker fronted show will kick off the new season with "The Desert Rose," according to Spoiler TV.

The new season is reported to follow Patrick Jane (Baker) and the CBI as they continue to track down the mysterious serial killer Red John. Now that Jane has received a list of seven suspects from Red John's previous accomplice Lorelei Martins (Emmanuelle Chriqui), he will actually be able to capture his nemesis, according to TV Guide.

"This is the final chase," said executive producer Bruno Heller. "We will know who Red John is and we will catch him next season. Everything that has happened over ther past five years will come to a head, and things will change drastically."

However, the cast has yet to find out who of the seven is actually guilty.

"I think Bruno Heller, the Series Creator, knows his identity since the beginning," said Robin Tunney who plays Agent Lisbon, according to the Télé Star. "My family thinks I know who he is. Yet I can assure you I don't. And I think it's better for me this way, it's better for me to play my character without knowing who Red John is."

"The Desert Rose" will air on Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
