International soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo struck a pose some U.S. celebrity watchers may find reminiscent of Angelina Jolie's Oscars leg pose.

Real Madrid was playing Osasuna on Saturday when the famed striker kicked a powerful long distance goal into the upper left corner of the net past a diving goalie.

In celebration, after a pose with outstretched arms, he hiked his shorts exposing a muscular right upper leg as teammates converged to celebrate the goal.

Angelina Jolie said last month she largely ignored the twitter and media frenzy caused by her exposed right leg at the Academy Awards, saying she merely picked out a dress for the night without giving the leg exposure much thought.
