While the world is on the edge of their seats waiting to hear news of a royal baby, Kate Middleton and her baby bump reportedly spent the past weekend with family.

According to ABC News, the 31-year-old pregnant Duchess visited her parents' home in Bucklebury, England, during her reported July 13 due date. Father-to-be Prince William, 31, played polo at the Jerudong Trophy Match at the Cirencester Polo Club, an annual event which raises funds for some of his favorite charities, including Child Bereavement UK and the youth homelessness organization Centrepoint.

Onlookers said that William who attended the event with his brother, Prince Harry, 28, appeared to be relaxed as he enjoyed the sport.

The Palace confirmed that William will have the next few days off from his search and rescue position to spend time with his family and wife as they prepare for the arrival of the baby. William is not scheduled to report back to North Wales right away; he is expected to take two weeks paternity leave once the baby arrives.

A detailed plan has already been put into place for when Middleton goes into labor.

The palace staff is "on call every day and night in July for this," a source said to Us Weekly. "There is nothing left to prepare or plan for."

As soon as Middleton feels the slightest bit of contractions, she will alert her private secretary, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who will then call Middleton's doctor Marcus Setchell.

Middleton will give birth in the Lindo wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington. Media outlets have already started camping out in front of the hospital.

The official announcement of the baby's birth won't be revealed via Twitter, but will be posted on the gate of Buckingham Palace. Once the bulletin is posted, the news of the baby can then be put on the internet.
