David Beckham will return to the TV screen next month for a new kids' show launching on Britain's Sky Sports.

Game Changers will invite many of the 75 athlete mentors who are part of Sky Sports Living for Sport to hold a series of "master classes" and appear on the weekly show. One of the mentors include the famed soccer star.

"It's an ambition of mine to inspire more young people to take part in sport. I'm excited to be one of a great group of athletes contributing to Game Changers and working with Sky, who have the passion to make it happen," Beckham told TV Biz.

The 38-year-old British star signed a £20million deal to be an ambassador for the subscription-based channel. He will be joining track and field star Jessica Ennis-Hill. The show will be hosted by Olympic gold medalist Darren Campbell and presenter Di Dougherty.

"Game Changers is the first show of its kind and a brilliant addition to the Sky Sports schedule...it's another demonstration of our commitment to all levels of sport from elite level to grass roots," Sky Sports managing director, Barney Francis, said in a statement posted on the channel's website.

Beginning Aug.17 and airing every Saturday morning at 9 a.m., Game Changers will be a live broadcast with audience members.

Victoria Beckham's husband retired from playing soccer in May, ending his 20-year career. Having four kids of his own, David has always been a supporter of the younger crowd. He at one point donated his entire Paris Saint-Germain salary to a local children's charity.
