Following the tragic loss of Glee star Corey Monteith, Enstars has compiled a gallery of other celebrities who also died from drug-related causes.

Monteith was found dead in his hotel room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in Vancouver on July 13. The BC Coroners Service announced on July 16 that the actor star died from a "mixed toxicity of heroin and alcohol." Monteith, known for his role of Finn on FOX's hit music show, was 31.

Here is a list of other celebrities in Hollywood who died from drug overdoses.

Heath Ledger, actor. The actor famous for his roles in Dark Knight and Brokeback Mountain was found dead in his New York City loft apartment in 2008. There was a lethal combined drug combination of oxycodone, hydrocodone, alprazolam, diazepam, temazepam and doxylamine discovered in his system. He left behind a daughter, Matilda Rose, who he fathered with actress Michelle Williams.

Michael Jackson, singer, After his personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray administered a lethal dose of Propofol, the King of Pop died on June 25, 2009. His death was later ruled a homicide. Jackson left behind three children-Prince, Paris and "Blanket." His mother filed a wrongful death suit against the company behind his This It It Tour. The trial began in May.

Amy Winehouse, singer. She died in 2010 from alcohol poisoning. She famously documented her family's wishes to get help for alcohol and drug abuse in her chart-topping first single Rehab.

Anna Nicole Smith, model and reality star. Anna died in 2007 -- six months after her son, Daniel Smith, died from a drug overdose at the age of 20 from a lethal combination of Zoloft, Lexapro and methadone. Smith herself had 11 drugs in her system. The former Playboy model left behind a daughter, Daniel Lynn Smith. It is believed that Anna Nicole overdosed because she never fully recovered from the loss of her son.

Brittany Murphy, actress. The Clueless star's report stated that she died from a combination of pneumonia, iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication.

River Phoenix, actor. The actor known for Stand By Me and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade died from heroin and cocaine overdose in 1993. He was the oldest of five siblings including actor Joaquin Phoenix.

Whitney Houston. Singer, actress. The iconic singer was found dead in a bathtub on the eve of the 2012 Grammys at the Beverly Hills hotel. Coroners ruled she had an accidental drowning due to a combination of heart disease and cocaine found in her system. They also found marijuana, Benadryl, Flexeril and Xanax in her system.

Chris Kelly, rapper. The rapper, who is one half of Kriss Kross, died from a fatal overdose of cocaine and heroine on May 1, 2013. According to a relative, the award-winning-rapper--who rose to fame with the hit singles Jump and Warm It Up-- had a history of extensive drug use in recent years.
