Robin Roberts Girlfriend: Partner Storm Sahara Photos: 'Good Morning America' Co-Anchor Marriage Rumors Continue
Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts and fashion stylist/director Storm Sahara made waves with their supposed marriage last month.
An email sent to several sites in mid June claimed that the couple was married on June 1, according to various media reports. The source states that the pair tied the knot in the privacy of their New York condo. However, the women have yet to confirm the rumors.
Roberts and Sahara entered the public conscience when the National Enquirer published piece on the couples split back in February. Just as Roberts was making her triumphant return to Good Morning America following a battle with myelodysplastic syndrome, the anchor was still healing from a broken heart after parting ways with Sahara who apparently didn't like being in the spotlight.
"She realized over the course of her illness how much she truly loved Storm and vowed that if she made it through, she would not only rekindle their love - but she would ask Storm to marry her," a source told the National Enquirer.
A March sighting by MediaTakeOut of the couple picking up a marriage certificate gives credence to the rumors.
Although Roberts recently appeared on Katie and received the ESPY Award for Courage, she has yet to mention her relationship.
