'The Wanted' on American Idol: Max George 'Very Excited' for April 5 Performance

The Wanted's Max George is excited to perform the British boy band's hit single "Glad You Came" on Thursday's (April 5) elimination episode of American Idol.

The Wanted's Max George is excited to perform the British boy band's hit single "Glad You Came" on Thursday's (April 5) elimination episode of American Idol.

The band - comprised of George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes - has had success in the United Kingdom and in the United States. "Glad You Came" has been on Billboard's Hot 100 chart for eleven weeks.

It is currently at No. 3.

"3 days till Idol!!! Very excited!!." George tweeted on Monday.

The band's U.S. album will debut on April 24.
