A strange new dinosaur that's now considered the relative of the well-known Triceratops, has now been discovered, except this one has a feature far different than most others; a large nose.

Nasutoceratops titusi, which means big-nose face," is the name being given to the newly discovered animal. The extinct force of nature was said to have lived in Utah roughly 76 million years ago.

Much like its relative Triceratops, the newly revealed dinosaur measures in at about 15 feet in length with a weight of around 2.5 tons. To top it off, it has a 4-5 foot skull with horns over its nose as well and each eye. It also has an elongated frill toward its rear. The Nasutoceratops used its flat teeth to eat plants.

According to the Proceedings of the Royal Society B, the dinosaur had many different features, as its nose was fairly larger than other horned dinosaurs. However, the size of its schnoz doesn't necessarily mean that it had a heightened sense of smell.

At 3.5 feet long, the Nasutoceratops' horns were roughly twice the length of its relatives. They were also curved and faced forward. The horns were used for attracting potential mates and scaring off other same sex animals.

The respective discovery undoubtedly brings new light on the dinosaur population that at one time graced the west coast in North America.
