In an interview with Ryan Seacrest set to air Sunday on E! Selena Gomez opens up about her teen years growing with the Disney Channel stars, living her love life in the public eye and plans of having a family.

Gomez told the American Idol host that growing up in Hollywood, the Disney Channel became her "high school." She starred in Wizards of Waverly Place for four seasons, from 2007-2012, starting at the age of 11. The 20-year-old then called out names of celebrities who also starred in their own shows on the pre-teen network: "you have Demi [Lovato] and then you have the Jonas guys and Miley [Cyrus].

"We're kids, we're growing up, we're figuring everything out and yeah of course we had our moments," Gomez explained of growing up in the business.

Addressing the "dark side of fame," Seacrest questioned Gomez on temptation. Gomez then talked about romance, saying "you can't help who you fall in love with. It's just hard."

In another video teaser for the interview, Seacrest reportedly asks Gomez whether the pressures of managing her breakup with Justin Bieber in the public eye ever became too much to handle.

"I'm sure you could actually see those pictures of me being, like, way stressed out about it," she responded. "And it's hard, because what do you do? Do you just wanna sit in your house and hide and not go anywhere?"

The interview will also feature discussions about Gomez's upcoming album Stars Dance and her acting career. Speaking about a possible a 10-year plan, she said she definitely does have one.

"I have goals - personally and in my professional career too - but what's in today can be gone tomorrow. So you might not see me in five years" she added, saying she will work until it comes time to have a family. "That's when everything will probably slow down. I mean, I'm Latin, so...[laughs]. I don't know, obviously when that time comes I'll decide, but of course I like having a big family."

The television special will air Sunday on E! at 10/9 p.m. Central.
