Miley Cyrus can't stop talking about her hair.

In a recent interview with Toronto Sun, the 20-year-old pop singer revealed her haircut changed her life.

"No one would have planned a haircut to change my life. I didn't plan a haircut to change my life. I just cut my hair and then it really changed my life," Cyrus said. "There's something about having no hair that it screams being confident."

That's right. It was her hair that made her more confident and has led her to dressing up in edgier clothes, walking around in crop tops and, even twerking in her We Can't Stop video. She's so confident that name calling has no effect on her.

"...The names I've been called since I cut my hair. Everyone said I was a lesbian but I'm like, 'Being a lesbian isn't a bad thing.' So if you think I look like I'm a lesbian, I'm not offended," she added. "You can call me much worse. I've been called much worse. Being a lesbian is a compliment more than what else they call me."

She also talked about the love and support from her fans and how they made her Number 1 on Maxim's Hot 100.  "It wasn't about me being the sexiest. It was about the fans voting. But it's something I loved. I don't think I've ever seen a Maxim cover with a girl with short hair."

The former Disney star evidently has had no regrets since chopping her hair off in August 2012. Immediately after the life-changing experience, she tweeted, "Never felt more me in my whole life... LOVE my hair ❤ feel so happy, pretty, and free."

Cyrus is currently making press rounds in London. She was spotted at the BBC Radio 1 Studios Wednesday morning for her appearance on the Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw.
