Christina Aguilera's performance of the National Anthem was voted the most cringe-worthy performance of the song, according to a new poll.

In a recent iHeartRadio poll, voters were asked, "Which artist's [National Anthem] performance was the most cringe-worthy?" and 35% voted Aguilera's 2011 Super Bowl performance as the most cringe-worthy, beating all other contenders.

During Aguilera's performance, she sang, "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming," but the actual lyrics are, "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming." She also veered off the traditional melody of the song, showing off with vocal runs instead.

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler came in second in the poll for his rendition of the National Anthem at the 2012 AFC Championship Game. The performance included Tyler messing up one of the lines: instead of singing "the bombs bursting in air" he sang "as bomb bursting in air."

Pop singer Kat DeLuna came in third for her performance at a 2008 NFL game. Similarly to Aguilera's performance, she showed off a serious of vocal runs and veered off the traditional melody of the song, causing the crowd in attendance to boo loudly.

Rounding out the top 6 was Michael Bolton's performance at a 2003 ALCS baseball game, Creed lead singer Scott Stapp's performance at the 2005 NASCAR Ford 400 race and country singer Luke Bryan's performance at the 2012 MLB All-Star Game.

Billboard created their own list of Worst National Anthem performances ever on July 3, putting DeLuna's performance at No. 1. Aguilera came it at No. 8 while Bolton came in at No. 3, Stapp at No. 4 and Tyler at No. 6. Comedian Roseanne Barr's performance at a 1990 baseball game was ranked at No. 2 on their list despite not being included on the iHeartRadio poll.
