Here goes another Kanye West vs. Paparazzi incident.

On Friday afternoon, Kanye West assaulted a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport, sending the photographer straight to the hospital.

In a statement made to X17online, a spokesperson from Los Angeles Airport Police stated, "Today at approximately 2:00 p.m., at the Tom Bradley International Terminal (on the arrival level curbside), Los Angeles Airport Police officers were flagged down by a citizen (photographer) who alleged that he was taking pictures of an individual when he was battered by the subject."

It seems that the 36-year-old rapper fled the scene before being caught by the L.A. Police Department. However, X17 posted pictures of the assault, proving that it was the Mercy singer who committed the assault.

"The alleged subject was not at the location nor was he observed by officers at the scene. LAFD was notified, responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention," the spokesperson added.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ  that police believe West committed "an attempted robbery," not a battery case since he tried taking the photographer's camera away. The victim by the name of 'Dano' reportedly wants to press charges against Kanye since he did suffer injuries (no details were revealed).

Right before the assault happened, the photographer was badgering Kanye with questions. "Why can't we talk to you? I mean, why? I mean, come on Kanye, I don't want to fight with you!" the photographer said.

After getting annoyed with the photographer, who West seemed to recognize, Kanye replied, "I told you, 'Don't talk to me,' right?" Whatcha tryin' to do is get me in trouble, so I stood off of you and have to pay you like $250,000."

The case is now in the hands of the Robbery Homicide Unit and the investigation is "ongoing," according to the report.

Back in 2007, Dano had another famous confrontation with pop singer Britney Spears. TMZ made the connection that Dano was part of Britney's memorable umbrella incident where the singer dented the photographer's Ford Explorer.
