Seven new garments featured on NBC TV Show "Fashion Star" landed on the shelves of some of America's top retailers as part of the show's format which could appeal to fashionistas on a budget.

The creations debuted on the 4th episode of "Fashion Star" which aired Tuesday night. Desigers were challenged to execute one high end and one mass market garment.

Competitors Barbara Bates and Sarah Parrot received purchases for both of their dresses. Nikki Poulos sold her retro dress while Kara Laricks got a purchase for her Tuxedo Jacket, while Luciana Scarabello's pleated silk dress was chosen.

The retailer carrying Bates' dresses is Macy's while H&M got Parrott's and Poulo's creations. Saks Fifth Avenue purchased Laricks' jacket and Scarabello's dress.

Designers on the show are mentored by celebrities Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie, John Varvatos and Elle Macpherson.
