Julianne Hough celebrated her 25th birthday on July 20 with a 1920s-themed birthday bash in Los Angeles, and she Instagramed the night away.

The Safe Haven actress looked as if she came right out of The Great Gatsby movie wearing a white lace dress, multiple pearl necklaces, flower headband and dark bold makeup.

She first posted a video in which she shared the following message: "Thank you guys so much. This has been the best birthday ever. I love my family, my friends, my fans. You guys are amazing. I feel so special. I feel so loved. This is amazing. I'm 25. What is going on?"

She then posted another picture, blowing kisses and posing with Desperate Housewives' Jesse Metcalfe, his fiancé Cara Santana and two other close friends. She wrote, "Champagne for everyone...Twirl your pearls... Kick up your heels...Lets get this party started! Celebrating a Qtr of a century! Wow!!!"

In addition to celebrating the night with close friends, a couple of celebrities showed up including Selena Gomez and Lily Collins.

Twilight star Ashley Greene also made a visit to Hough's bash bringing her best friend along. On Greene's Instagram page, she posted a picture of her wearing a silver-sequened flapper dress, pearl necklace, and side-swept lighter hairstyle. "Back in the 20's with my bestie," she wrote.

Adding to her birthday festivities, Hough was spotted at Chord Overstreet's concert at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood earlier in the day.

Hough will next star in Diablo Cody's directorial debut, Paradise, alongside Russell Brand, Holly Hunter and Octavia Spencer. While the release date has not yet been announced, Hough wrote on her website about the film and her character.

"It's a really fresh script and original. It's a type of role that I've never played before. It was something physical that I had to portray as well as emotional. My character, Lamb, is kind of a 21-year-old know-it-all, but with a lot of vulnerability," she said
