With the royal baby almost here, the host of America's Got Talent dished some parenting advice to impending father-to-be Prince William.

Cannon, who is the proud papa to two-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan by wife Mariah Carey, offered a little friendly advice.

"Honestly, just give your kid a normal name," Cannon quipped to EnStars while promoting his new partnership with Snapple.

The Wild 'N Out star is referring to the unique monikers that have been chosen for Hollywood's newborns, including North, Blue Ivy, and Apple.

Cannon didn't want to dish much more advice though, joking that Prince William and Kate Middleton probably don't want his advice anyway. "They'll be fine," he added.

Royal baby fever is in full swing as pregnant Kate has gone into labor and checked into the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital in London.

On Monday, July 22, Prince William's wife of two years was expected to give birth naturally to their first child.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour. The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge," a Palace rep confirmed to Us Weekly in a statement.
