The upcoming Lego Movie will feature the voices of Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, announced on July 20 at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con.

The Warner Bros-hosted panel at the convention included the film's directors, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, along with producer Dan Lin. They announced that Tatum will voice Superman, Hill will voice Green Lantern and Cobie Smulders, who plays Agent Maria Hill in The Avengers, will voice Wonder Woman.

The voice of LEGO Ninja Turtles hasn't been identified yet, with Lord saying, "Warners has a robot installed in our hearts and it'll explode if we tell you."

Tatum, 33, and Hill, 29, first starred together in the 2012 film 21 Jump Street. The hit comedy film earned more than $201 million in worldwide box office sales. There's no doubt the action duo are just as excited to star together in the Lego Movie since they remained good friends following the film.

"Chan is the kind of friend you need in life," Hill revealed in the July issue of Vanity Fair. "I've called him in my darkest moments, and he not only cared enough to be there but he taught me not to be afraid of those moments. He is one of the strongest, most caring and street-smart people I have ever met. There is something magical about him."

After the announcement, the This Is the End star was spotted on Monday shopping with a friend in Hollywood.

The animated feature is about an ordinardy LEGO figure named Emmet. Mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person, he embarks on a quest to stop an evil tyrant and save the world.

The film is scheduled to be released in February 2014.
