La La Anthony may love being a basketball wife, but she'll be the first to admit marriage isn't easy.

The former MTV VJ, who married New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony in 2010, spoke with EnStars on July 19 and dished about how they deal with keeping their romance alive while being the center of tabloid fodder.

"You have to put work into being married," she said while promoting her new partnership with Caress. "My husband and I have sexy date nights and don't go longer then two weeks without seeing one another."

"[It's all about] keeping your marriage spicy and putting work into marriage," La La added.

The reality star recently announced she'll be publishing a relationship book in 2014. The book - titled The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness - chronicles her search for romance and offers advice about how to have a healthy relationship.

"There has been quite a buzz around this book. I'm really excited for it," she said. "In the book, I'm giving advice on things that I've went through... It's fun stuff like what do you wear on a first date and what do you order in a restaurant on a first date. We tackle a lot of fun issues that people go through every day on the dating scene and on the marriage scene."

Dishing a little advice, she said both single and coupled women will attract others with a great-smelling fragrance.

"It all starts with fragrance," she revealed, adding she's a huge fan of Caress' new body wash called Tempting Whisper. "It's an amazing fragrance. It's light, fresh and floral and prefect for summer. It lasts all day -- and people will definitely be asking what you're wearing. And as a woman, you need that confidence booster to push your self esteem."
