Electronic duo Daft Punk got the Vogue treatment in a recently released video from the fashion magazine.

The Get Lucky duo, a.k.a. Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, posed with 20-year-old model Karlie Kross for a spread in the August issue of Vogue magazine. A video of the photo shoot was posted on Vogue's website on Monday and features Daft Punk and Kross posing in various locations in New York City.

The duo posed in Saint Laurent suits by Hedi Slimane throughout the shoot while wearing their trademark metallic helmets and gloves. Kross wore various outfits by designers such as Alexander McQueen and Riccardo Tisci.

Vogue also included numerous photos from the shoot in a slideshow here. After the shoot, Vogue sat down with Daft Punk to get more insight into their unique act.

"We consider what we do a Wizard of Oz situation," said Bangalter. "It's one guy behind a curtain pushing all the buttons."

They listed film director Quentin Tarantino and Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan as their inspirations and gave special notice to Kanye West's vision. The group collaborated with West on four track for his latest album, Yeezus.

The duo also singled out Slimane, who has been their designer for over 10 years.

"He was one of the first people to hear the new album," Bangalter said of Slimane.

Daft Punk's latest album, Random Access Memories, has been their most successful thus far and led by the success of the album's first single Get Lucky. The album featured such collaborators as Giorgio Moroder and Nile Rodgers, two musicians who rose to fame in the 1970's.

"In 20 years, some of the collaborators on this album might not be here anymore," said de Homem-Christo, explaining that Random Access Memories was "an opportunity for us to pay them homage."
