Miley Cyrus is adamant about getting 13 million Twitter followers before she releases the name of her upcoming album, scheduled to be released in 2013.

The singer is currently at a little over 12.9 million followers on Twitter at time of publication. However, she will not settle for less than 13 million. She tweeted on Wednesday, "Can't wait to announce my album title :))) #MileyTo13Million *******"

The 20-year-old is likely to reach her goal before the alleged debut of her new song 23, featuring Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J. The track will be released on Aug. 26, Cyrus hinted in a tweet. Mike WiLL Made It produced the song after working with the singer on We Can't Stop.

Cyrus and WiLL first teased the song on July 14 when they both tweeted "#23." Not much else is known about the track, but 23 may be the second single from Cyrus' upcoming album, her fourth studio effort. We Can't Stop already garnered worldwide success and went platinum in Australia this week. The track is also listed as No. 4 on iTunes as of Wednesday. Cyrus released a snippet of Wrecking Ball, also off her upcoming album, earlier in July

Cyrus' last album was 2010's Can't Be Tamed and before that was 2008's Breakout. Back in May, Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne spoke to Hollywood Life about her take on the 2013 album Cyrus is working on after hearing some of the new music.

"You'll love it," Osbourne said. "It's such a departure from everything you've ever seen from Miley before. It is the grown up Miley Cyrus. It takes a strong woman to step outside the boundaries and she has done it. I think you'll like it."
