The film adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey may just have a sleeper for the role of the S&M-crazed billionaire Christian Grey in Dracula's Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

With his piercing eyes, well-defined jaw and masculine features, the 35-year-old clearly has the attributes necessary to make the Fifty Shades' female fans swoon.

A video was had been put up on YouTube portraying the actor as Grey, and while the footage was only a series of pictures, several users still took to the comment section to offer their support for Meyers donning the sexy part.

"I am telling you guys he is Christian Grey.Thanks so much awsome Angel," wrote Barbara Sanders.

"I could see this... yes I could," HAGGY100 posted.

"Yes, he's definitely perfect. . . and perfect for the role, too," wrote purplepixie305.

Meyers aside, other potential actors that may be suited to be cast for the Grey role include Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder, White Collar's Matt Bomer and Gangster Squad's Ryan Gosling.

Could Zac Efron be a top contender as well?

Fifty Shades screenwriter Kelly Marcel, who's currently in the process of refining the script, stated that she would be sticking to the content of James' books with lots of sex and raunchiness. Producers are said to be aiming for an NC-17 rating, according to Style magazine.
