The Mentalist  has announced another guest-star for the season premiere, an episode that holds the possibility of danger and discord for Patrick Jane and Agent Lisbon.

Titled "The Desert Rose," the first episode of season 6 will see an appearance by Josie Davis (Hollywood Heights) as a truck stop waitress named Sonya, according to TV Guide. Lauren Stamile (Burn Notice) will also be featured as Madison Yardley, the wife of a man whose two-year-old corpse has just been discovered.

"Jane and Lisbon are hot on the trail of Red John in the season premiere, but a disagreement on how to handle the situation may leave one of them in danger before the episode is over," said series creator Bruno Heller, according to TV Guide.

Following the event of last spring's "Red John's Rules," Jane (Simon Baker) and Lisbon (Robin Tunney) are now in the possession of a seven-suspect list to aid them in the quest to bring down Red John.

Provided by the serial killer's former accomplice Lorelei Martins, the list includes Bret Stiles, Gale Bertram, Ray Haffner, Reede Smith, Bob Kirkland, Sheriff Thomas McAllister and Brett Partridge. By time the credits roll on "the Desert Rose," the list may be shorter, according to TV Line.

"By the end of the premiere episode, there may be one less suspect," Heller.

Viewers can find out which of the seven will drop off the list when The Mentalist returns to CBS on Sept. 29.
