While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's car was parked at a local paintball park in Los Angeles, a man broke into the vehical and tried to steal some items. He eventually was arrested.

The co-owner of Hollywood Sports Paintball Park, Giovanni D'Egidio, confirmed the details to E! News. On July 20, the couple's 11-year-old son Maddox arrived with some friends and a bodyguard around 12 p.m. Thirty minutes later, a "suspicious white Toyota truck" pulled up parallel, right behind Jolie and Pitt's black SUV.

"Our security guys noticed and kept an eye on the vehicle," D'Egidio told the news outlet. "It was kind of strange. It was like he knew what car to hit and what he wanted. The truck was moving very slow."

Moments later, the suspect got into Jolie and Pitt's SUV and started stealing stuff. After one witness saw the suspect with "something hanging out of his jacket," he alerted the manager, who called the Los Angeles Sherriff's department.

"We located the bodyguard and alerted him that we had a situation," D'Egidio explained. "The bodyguard recognized the items that were recovered. The suspect was arrested and his truck was then towed."

It appears the suspect was a Hispanic male, named Lorenzo Castro, a spokesperson for the Bellflower Sherriff's Department confirmed. He was arrested for stealing two iPads and a cellphone, but all the items were returned following the arrest. TMZ posted exclusive photos of Castro being arrested.

While the incident occurred, Maddox and his friends were playing in the general area inside the paintball park.

"We gave them some tactical cloths, goggles, and gloves. We then moved them into the VIP area where they played four more games," D'Egidio said. "The kids were happy and having a great time."

A source told TMZ that Maddox and his bodyguard received a bunch of free food and other items due to the incident.
