Although he'lll clearly have to join a long line of potential suitors for the role of Christian Grey in the movie version of Fifty Shades of Grey, Teen Wolf's Tyler Hoechlin has received buzz for the role from some of his fans.

According to HNGN, the 25-year-old's loyalists stated that "he's hot and totally fits the physical appearance of the lead male character. At 6'0 he's tall enough to play the role and he also has the characteristically muscular, broad-shouldered frame."

The actor is also known for his work on Road To Perdition, Hall Pass and 7th Heaven, amongst other things.

Hoechlin aside, some other potential suitors that have been brought up as of late for the Grey role include The Originals' Joseph Morgan, The Paperboy's Zac Efron, and On The Road's Sturridge.

Dracula's Jonathan Rhys Meyers also a contender as well?

However, it currently appears as though The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder and White Collar's Matt Bomer are two of the top frontrunners.

Fifty Shades screenwriter Kelly Marcel, who's currently in the process of refining the script, said that she would be sticking to the content of James' books with lots of sex and raunchiness. Producers are said to be aiming for an NC-17 rating, according to Style magazine.
