To the fortune of its fans, FX's hit biker TV series, Sons of Anarchy, will be premiering its sixth season with a bang, as it was recently announced that it will be airing a 90-minute episode upon its return in the fall.

According to SpoilerTV, the following statement was posted regarding its upcoming installment:

"FX launches the sixth season of its award-winning, top-rated drama Sons Of Anarchy on September 10 at 10 PM ET/PT with a special 90-minute episode and will continue to run on Tuesdays at 10 PM."

Season 6 is set to feature Jax (Charlie Hunnam) once again attempting to distance himself and his family from a life of corruption. However, it will also have Clay (Ron Perlman) undergoing personal troubles of his own, as he finds himself stuck in prison with nobody coming to post his bail. Jax's ex Wendy (Drea de Matteo), who is the mother of Abel, will also make her return, further complicating things in the SAMCRO president's life.
