The character of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) on AMC's The Walking Dead has garned quite the popularity on the zombie TV series. However, as notorious as the surviving Dixon brother is, it was actually reported that he is by no means exempt from meeting his demise.

While the 44-year-old actor's onscreen brother Merle's (Michael Rooker) death was met with minimal resistance, the younger character kicking the bucket would clearly have some pretty hefty ramifications when it comes to the show's fans. Hence, there's actually a t-shirt that reads, "IF DARYL DIES WE RIOT."

While creator Robert Kirkman surely appreciates his WD loyalists, he expressed that he's not one to back down to dares, which is what he considers the Daryl shirt.

"I feel like it's a dare. Like 'Oh, really? You're going to riot? We'll see. No one is safe," he said.

In other WD news, Reedus took the opportunity to speak to Entertainment Weekly about his character's protocol in terms of the group's livelihood.

"They go on runs and we raid places and this is Georgia so that is one of the weapons that people hunt with. So it's not unheard of to find more arrows. (...) When you show this large of a time frame, there's a lot of things that are sort of understood. You never see us go to the bathroom, but we do that," he said.
