The role of Peter Pan has been cast for the new season of Once Upon a Time.

Robbie Kay, who had previously been cast as a member of The Lost Boys for the third season, will actually be playing Peter Pan. The 17-year-old actor is best known for playing Pinocchio in the 2008 miniseries of the same name and played the role of Cabin Boy in 2011's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Once Upon a Time producers recently told the crowd at Comic-Con that Peter Pan would have a "complicated motivation" in the new season. He would not divulge any more details about what that motivation was, but suggested that he would not be wholly good or evil.
