Selena Gomez released her first solo album Stars Dance only a few days ago but the singer is not wasting any time moving forward, revealing that she is already working on new music.

The record is her fourth studio album and was released on July 23 via Hollywood Records. The 21-year-old embarks on her world tour in August but until then, she is taking time to record songs for the future.

"I'm already in the studio now. I actually started working on new stuff and creating a whole fun, different vibe," Gomez reportedly told CNN. "It's constantly evolving. I'm super-stoked with where this is, and hopefully it will continue to just get better."

Talking to MTV about traveling the globe promoting her latest album Gomez said she hopes with her Stars Dance world tour to leave fans utterly exhausted by the last song.

"The tour is going to be really fun. I also want them to be exhausted when they leave my shows, because I want it to be like a giant rave." she explained about her vision for the tour. "We're having a really fun time experimenting with different beats and sounds and remixing some of my old songs, so I think they are going to be really excited. I think they are going to have a great time, and I think they are going to be surprised too."

Her opening act is former X Factor contestants Emblem3. Gomez begins her first solo world tour on Aug. 14 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The lead single off her album is Come & Get It, which peaked last week at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on Pop Songs.

Gomez's last album was 2011's When the Sun Goes Down, credited to Selena Gomez and the Scene.
