'Vampire Diaries' Season 5 Spoilers: NEW PHOTOS of Cast & Tyler Reuniting With Caroline? [VIDEO]

Although the return of the hit TV series, The Vampire Diaries, is still over two months away, fans of the program continue to scour the web for its latest happenings.

The CW was kind enough to appease those loyalists my posting a bunch of behind-the-scenes images from a brand new cast photo shoot.

During the respective shoot, Nina Dobrev (Elena) was in the middle of the show's most desirable men, which included Ian Somerhalder (Damon), Paul Wesley (Stefan), and also Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood).

Since Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will be moving from Mystic Falls, it appears as though Tyler will be reuniting with Caroline (Candace Accola), stated the site.

Somerhalder took to Twitter to put up a photo of himself, Elena and Damon from the shoot with the following caption:

"The trio-Stefan,Elena,Damon..."

Dobrev retweeted Somerhalder's image, which seemingly re-established that there was no bad blood (no pun intended) between the real-life ex-couple.

The CW's Vampire Diaries is scheduled to air its fifth season on Thursday, October 10. Its spin-off series, The Originals, will start season 1 on Tuesday, October 15.
