Prince George already has a nickname.

The one-week-old royal baby, whose full name is George Alexander Louis will be called Prince Georgie, according to grandpa, Prince Charles. 

Us Weekly reported that while visiting Whitstable Oyster Festival in Kent, England on Monday, Prince Charles and wife, Camila, Duchess of Cornwall gave an update on their grandson. The 64-year-old father of Prince William and Prince Harry chatted with locals who asked about Prince George and agreed that the name "George" is a very good name.

Prince Charles also said that his grandson will be have the nickname "Georgie in no time." it is reported that he will be nicknamed after the late Prince George, Duke of Kent was called 'Georgie' by his family.

The Prince of Wales also received a baby gift for Georgie from a local named Shona Corcoran and her 3-year-old daughter Hannah. 

"It's one of the Whitstable Oyster Festival T-shirts and we just wanted to give something to George," Corcoran told Prince Charles. "Oh, that's fantastic, thank you," Prince Charles graciously accepted. . "I'm sure he'll like to wear that."

Throughout the day, Prince Charles and Camila walked around, ate oysters and chatted with other people at the festival. 

Nicki Wray, a 31-year-old teacher, from Nottingham, also spoke to Prince Charles and told reporters: "I just caught his eye and said, 'Congratulations, granddad, you must be so pleased.' He said 'Yes, we are, pleased as punch.'" Wray also said that the Prince Charles told her his grandson is "very loud."

Not only does Prince George have a nickname, he already has playdates with Victoria Beckham children, Enstars reported earlier. 

Victoria who reportedly developed a strong relationship with the Duchess of Cambridge during her pregnancy is open to sharing her experiences as a parent. 

"Victoria and Kate have had a strong friendship for some time now and Victoria was very keen to offer a helping hand," a source said.
