In his usual amusing manner, Blake Shelton is denying the recent accusation of a heart scare.

Last week the country singer's life style came under fire by a piece in the National Enquirer. While there have been numerous rumors about Shelton's drinking and it's contribution to his weight gain and alleged marital problems, a new source claimed The Voice coach's habits are catching up with him.

"He went to bed after a wild night of downing tequila, beer and tubs of fried chicken and woke up in the middle of the night with searing pain shooting from his chest through his arms," a source told the National Enquirer. "He was gasping for air for a few minutes before he finally pulled himself together. He called [his wife, Miranda Lambert,] who's been on tour, and she told him to rush to an emergency room."

However, Gossip Cop claims that such an incident never happened. In the mean time Shelton set the record straight on Twitter.

"Newest tabloid is that I'm having heart problems... That's ridiculous. It's my liver that's focked!!!!!!" wrote the Boys 'Round Here singer.

Despite the alleged health problems, Shelton is having a good month considering his 2011 album Red River Blue recently reached its millionth sale.
