The relationship between Drake and his Young Money Records family seems to be strained, judging by Nicki Minaj's recent comments.

Minaj appeared on New York's Hot 97 radio station on Monday and spoke to host Funkmaster Flex about Drake's recent distance from the group. She wasn't fully forthcoming, but her cryptic statements strongly suggested that the Canadian rapper isn't as close with his label mates as he once was.

"I just feel like people's perception of their reality is their perception of their reality," Minaj said. "Sometimes people make moves based on their perception of what reality is and I know that sounds like a riddle, but maybe one day you'll be able to unravel that one."

In the interview, Minaj never stated clearly that Drake was on good terms with his Young Money team, instead she addressed what she deemed subliminal shots the rapper took at her on some of his songs.

"I've never taken that personal," said Minaj. "When you are in a place where Drake is, which is everybody is asking him for a hook or a feature, it is what it is. He's speaking the truth. Whether he's taking that as a compliment or not, I don't know. He's speaking the truth and I think he's speaking about every damn body. I'm not exempt from that and neither is anyone else."

Minaj said she is confident, however, that Lil Wayne would be able to hold the Young Money roster together, because of the admiration he garners from the artists on the record label.

"We all love Wayne and that's what's gonna hold us together," she said. "Drake is my baby 'cause that's how we were when we came in, so whenever I think of him I'll be like, 'Oh, that's my baby.' Whatever is going on now, obviously we're all very busy, and you know, s**t happens."

Still, Minaj hinted that with Drake's success and busy schedule, the lack of communication between the rapper and his camp might have fueled the alleged rift.

"It gets a little hard to have a real connection when people are on different sides of the world and working on different things," she said. "You never know who people got in their ear or what they feeling. Maybe they felt wronged in some way. I don't know, but I just know that Drake is my baby and Wayne is my everything."
