Brooks Forester broke Desiree Hartsock's heart when he eliminated himself from The Bachelorette on Monday night.

But it appears the upset shouldn't come as a surprise. Earlier this month, his sister-in-law took to Twitter to dish about the kind of girlfriend Brooks needs, hinting that if he played his cards right, he could wind up with supermodel Kate Upton.

When a fan asked his sister-in-law about the qualities Brooks looks for in a woman, she tweeted: "I picture him with someone super witty, easy-going, and easy to talk to."

In the context of that message, she went on to dish about his celebrity crush, guessing Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton.

She went on to answer questions about the hometown dates.

"It was a long night of filming for sure, but fun. Foresters are loud and funny group and very tight knit," she wrote.

Brooks sister-in-law even dished about his dating life, revealing: "He goes out on dates, but takes relationships seriously."

How many girlfriends, asked a fan. "Not that many girlfriends," she replied.

In part one of the two-part finale of The Bachelorette, Brooks, who was a clear frontrunner, shattered Desiree Hartsock's heart when he pulled her aside before their big overnight date in Antigua to tell her that, despite his desire to be madly in love with her, he needed to go home.

Brooks sobbed into the cameras after dumping Des, calling it the "worst day of [his] life."

Desiree still has two guys in the running -- Chris Siegfried and Drew Kenney -- but she's already admitted that her feelings for them aren't as strong as her feelings for Brooks.

"It throws everything off, having Brooks gone," she cried on Monday's episode. "It breaks my heart. It breaks my heart knowing that I have two amazing, unreal guys who do love me. I just can't love them as much...And that's not what they deserve. Honestly, for me, it's over."

The Bachelorette airs Monday night at 8p.m. EST on ABC.
