However, to the fortune of its loyalists', the Star Wars franchise is expected to be dishing on the cast between the dates of Aug. 9 to Aug. 11 at Disney's D23 Expo.

According to What Culture, if the SW creative brass is aiming "for a fresh-faced, handsome, likeable young man to fill the void left by Hayden Christensen, they could do much worse than Andrew Garfield."

The 29-year-old clearly demonstrated in The Amazing Spider-Man that he indeed has both the acting chops and charm to pull of such a role.

Although Garfield may be a bit on the busy side being that the Spiderman franchise will churning out a third and fourth installment for 2016 and 2018 respectively, there still may be a chance he could squeeze in the work.

The Star Wars: Episode VII storyline will occur around the time period after the events of Return of the Jedi. The film is scheduled to launch on July 15, 2015. A fan-made trailer of the future flick can be viewed below.
