Harry Styles denied claims that he is bisexual and dating United Kingdom radio show host Nick Grimshaw, insisting that they are just friends.

The One Direction singer dismissed rumors linking him to BBC Radio 1 host, after admitting that he "didn't even know" about the them being romantically linked.

"We're not dating, no. We're just friends," he said, Mirrors reported Wednesday.

When asked by GQ magazine whether or not he is bisexual, the 19-year-old continued, "Bisexual? Me? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I'm not."

The openly gay 28-year-old radio host, Grimshaw, previously dismissed the same dating rumors. Speculation surfaced after they were photographed wearing each other's clothes and spending nights out together at a London club. They also pulled an all-nighter following the 2013 BRIT Awards and Styles appeared on Grimshaw's radion breakfast show the next morning, seemingly hungover from partying the night before.

Dealing with rumors that come with the territory of being a world-wide sensation, Styles told the magazine, "Some of them are funny. Some of them are ridiculous."

"Some of them are annoying. I don't want to be one of those people that complains about the rumors," he added. "The only time it gets really annoying is that if you get into a relationship and you get into a place where you really like someone and then things are being written in the papers that affect them and how they see you."

Styles also said he does not like it when a celebrity goes on Twitter to deny rumors, saying, "It is what it is; I tend not to do that."

Styles and the rest of One Direction - Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan - grace the September 2013 issue of British GQ, which goes on sale Aug. 1. Their 3D documentary, This Is Us, will be released in U.S. theaters on Aug. 29. The band insisted in June that the film is not scripted at all.
