Actress Gabrielle Union discussed her dreams of becoming a mother in a recent interview, and later showed off a brand new look on Instagram.

Union, 40, posted a split image that featured four different shots of her new Beyonce-esque blonde mane with the caption, "New Day, New Jon...New Do" on July 23.

A week later, she shared a "before" and "after" photo, featuring her new blonde hair. In the "before" image, the actress' freckles are very visible, while the "after" shot showcased a glam makeover that included penciled eyebrows, dark eye shadow and nude lip gloss.

The actress was photographed arriving on location in New York for her next film, tentatively titled The Untitled Chris Rock Movie. The film stars Rock and Union's Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man co-star Malcolm Romany.

She posted a photo with her new costars, captioning the picture, "Tales from the set . . . Movie honey Chris Rock & my ace Romany Malco #UCRM."
 The film also stars Rosario Dawson and Kevin Hart.

Enstars reported last month that Union and her NBA star boyfriend, Dwyane Wade, may be engaged and secretly planning a wedding. A source revealed that Wade proposed to Union in front of several Miami Heat teammates and close friends in the VIP section of Story nightclub in South Beach Miami, right after his team won the 2013 NBA championship on June 21, according to MediaTakeout.

Union told Extra's Maria Menounous that she would love to have a child with Wade in the future.

"I think in the next couple of years, if I'm lucky, I will make that a reality, hopefully," the 40-year-old union told Extra.  Union then cited actress Halle Berry as another older woman who is expecting her second child at the age of 46.

"I think in the industry that we're in, it's not taboo to be an older mom," said Union. "You're not alone. There's such a huge support to start a family a little but older and it's okay."
